About
Johanna Hintze is a Swedish actress based in Gothenburg and a 2026 graduate of Malmö Theatre Academy. She made her screen debut as a child, playing Olivia Kreutz in the SVT drama series Mannen under trappan, and has since built a range that stretches from the dual role of Shen Te/Shui Ta in Brecht's The Good Person of Szechwan to Malcolm, a Murderer and a Witch in Macbeth. Recent work includes the title role in Mira går genom rummen (dir. Rasmus Lindgren), Cecilia in Slottet (dir. Linda Ritzén) and Hedda in the upcoming SVT series Poly (dir. Angelika Abramovitch). On audio, she voiced Veronica in the drama Sommar noll nio for VOX Demon and works as an audiobook narrator. Johanna works fluently in English (American and British) and German, and moves easily between Swedish dialects — Gothenburg, Scanian, Stockholm, Norrland and standard Swedish. A mezzo-soprano who plays guitar, she also dances Lindy Hop and tap and rides, including Western. With housing in Stockholm and Malmö as well as Gothenburg, she is available for work across Sweden.
