**Johan Holmberg** is a Swedish actor. He has built a long and distinguished career across film, television, theatre, and voice work. Since 2003, he has been a member of the ensemble at the Royal Dramatic Theatre (Dramaten) in Stockholm, where he has appeared in numerous acclaimed productions.

Before joining Dramaten, Holmberg worked at Gothenburg City Theatre, Borås City Theatre, Angereds Teater, and Teater Bhopa. Known for his nuanced performances, he has portrayed a wide range of complex characters in both classic and contemporary works. He also works as an accomplished audiobook narrator and theatre director.

Most recently, Holmberg appears in a major role as Police Officer Axelsson in the SVT drama series **Svärtan (Summer of '85)**, premiering on SVT Play. His screen work, combined with his extensive stage experience, has established him as one of Sweden's most versatile and respected character actors.
